Michael Labone
Savannah Chambers was established by Michael Labone after a period of working in the region and consulting with local stakeholders.
Michael Labone BA LLB MA LLM commenced practice at the Queensland Bar in 2006. Michael has extensive experience in criminal and regulatory law. Michael has acted as either prosecutor or defence counsel in numerous criminal and regulatory prosecutions and is appointed to the Legal Aid Queensland Complex Criminal Case Barrister Panel.
In the civil jurisdiction, Michael has acted for and advised government authorities, businesses and individuals across a wide range of common law, commercial, administrative and regulatory proceedings and appeals, including:

Ollie Labone
Ollie is a Barrister practising in criminal and regulatory law. He accepts briefs in a broad range of criminal, quasi-criminal and disciplinary matters and appears in trials, hearings, mentions and interlocutory applications.
His practice includes criminal prosecutions and defence matters, regulatory proceedings, professional disciplinary matters and investigative and compliance-related work. He regularly advises on evidence, procedure, statutory interpretation and litigation strategy.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Ollie gained experience in litigation and advocacy across both public and private sectors, developing a practical and commercially focused approach to dispute resolution and Courtroom advocacy.
In addition to his practice, Ollie also mentors students through the Leo Cussen Centre for Law.
